Puncak popularitasnya terjadi pada tahun 2014 dimana album 1989 laris manis dan terjual sebanyak 3 juta lebih hanya dalam 3 bulan saja.Pada tahun 2008, kemudian Taylor swift mendapatkan nominasi sebagai Best New Artist di Grammy Awards.
